About Me

Racism kills. It almost killed me. But I believe art has saved—is saving—my life; and I believe it can—and has done the same for others.”

Amy Manion

I’m a Boston-born Asian American artist that merges my talents in the arts with my passion for social justice.

Whether sharing my story and music through Tunefoolery Music, Inc., a nonprofit composed of musicians in mental health recovery,  or more recently, creating a spoken word video entitled “You Call Me Corona” for the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention, my aim has always been to create a dialogue around seeing and being seen: building human connections and sharing my experience and hope for a more just world.
